Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor
DownloadThailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (ECC) straddles the three eastern Thai provinces of Chonburi, Rayong, and Chachoengsao, located on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand, and spans a total of 13,285 square kilometers. The government hopes to develop the EEC into a leading ASEAN economic zone by 2021, turning Thailand’s eastern seaboard into a hub for technological manufacturing and services with strong connectivity to its ASEAN neighbors.
