On December 4, 2025, the Dezan Shira & Associates India team participated in the inaugural India–Australia Business Summit, held at the Radisson Blu Plaza in New Delhi. Organized by the Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce (AustCham India) under the theme “Advancing Partnerships,” the summit convened senior leaders from business, government, and industry to explore opportunities for deeper bilateral collaboration.
DSA representatives included Ankur Munjal, Managing Director of DSA India; Umair Ul Haque; Naina Bhardwaj; and Ashna Kohli from the International Business Advisory team, as well as Mansi Gupta, Marketing Lead for the Australian Desk. With Mr. Munjal serving on the IACC’s representative council, Dezan Shira and Associates remains committed to assisting Australian businesses in India.
The summit, led by Mr. Gaven Standon, President of AustCham India, and Ms. Merin Devassia, CEO of AustCham India, convened key institutions including Austrade, DFAT, Invest India, the Government of India, and the Australian High Commission. Discussions focused on trade diversification, investment facilitation, innovation, and sustainability-led growth.
Through plenary sessions, sectoral tracks, and the India–Australia Business Excellence Awards, the summit provided actionable insights and strengthened the foundation for a resilient and future-ready economic partnership.
