On Wednesday, 26 November 2025, our International Business Advisor in Hanoi, Dan Martin, took part as a panelist at the Export Promotion Forum 2025: “Vietnam’s Exports: Go Global, Winning International Markets” held at the Intercontinental Hanoi Westlake.
The Forum opened with remarks from Mr. Vu Ba Phu, Director General of VIETRADE, highlighting Vietnam’s commitment to innovation, export diversification, and deeper integration into global markets.
Dan Martin contributed to Panel Discussion 2: Maximizing FTA Advantages and Strengthening Risk Management, moderated by Prof. Dr. Vo Xuan Vinh, alongside notable experts Mr. Ngo Chung Khanh (MOIT), Ms. Hoang Thi Lien (VPSA), and Mr. Le Sy Giang (GHC Consulting & Advisory).
During the panel, Dan shared insights on building sustainable global partnerships, emphasizing the strategic role of Free Trade Agreements in operational excellence:
“Vietnam’s export success over the next decade will depend on trust and consistency. Competing globally means meeting international standards every single time, not just when conditions are easy. Global buyers are looking for partners who can deliver quality, transparency, and reliability at scale. Companies that treat FTAs as strategic frameworks for upgrading their operations through better traceability, skilled management, and credible governance will gain more than tariff savings. They will earn long-term partnerships, stronger brand equity, and a seat at the table in global value chains.”
