Dezan Shira & Associates Shares Insights at Team Finland China Biannual Meeting in Hong Kong

On May 9, 2025, Dezan Shira & Associates was invited to participate in the Team Finland China Biannual Meeting held in Hong Kong, where our firm was represented by Radomir Tomovic, international business advisory manager of the Greater Bay Area.

Radomir delivered a keynote speech during the meeting’s closing session, sharing insights into Hong Kong’s evolving position in the Greater Bay Area and the increasing investment and cooperation opportunities between Finland and China across key sectors. His remarks sparked a lively discussion among the attendees, highlighting the growing relevance of Hong Kong as a regional hub for international business and trade.

The event gathered senior Finnish representatives, including Mr. Mikko Kinnunen, the ambassador of Finland to China, Mr. Timo Kantola, the consul general of Finland to Hong Kong and Macao, and Mr. Marko Tiesmäki, China country director at Business Finland. The meeting served as a platform to exchange views on the challenges and opportunities Finnish companies encounter when doing business in China.
