Insights into Foreign Employee Affairs Under the China Travel Policies with Fuki Fu

Fuki Fu, Assistant Manager on our HR & Payroll Services team, hosted a seminar at the European Chamber of Commerce’s Nanjing office to discuss the effects of China’s travel restrictions on foreigners.

Although China has recently announced that foreigners with valid permits for work, personal matters, and reunions will be allowed to enter the country starting from September 28, there are still those who cannot enter the country.

Fuki gave attendees an overview of the travel ban, its impacts on foreign employees, and special visa applications.  She also introduced the new policy affecting foreign permit holders reminding attendees that foreigners holding a valid tourist visa, business visa, or a student visa issued before March 28 still cannot enter the country.
