On June 10, 2025, Ines Liu, senior manager of International Business Advisory at Dezan Shira & Associates’ Beijing office, attended the King’s birthday celebration hosted by Her Excellency Dame Caroline Wilson DCMG, the British ambassador to China. The reception, held at the British ambassador’s residence in Beijing, marked a symbolic moment as it was the first time the UK community in China celebrated the birthday of King Charles III, following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
