Major Investment Destinations in India
On September 26th, Business Intelligence Assistant Manager, Koushan Das, discussed major investment destinations in India and highlighted the relevance of a state-based market entry approach.
Foreign Direct Investment Policy of India
India is one of the most favourable destinations for foreign direct investments in the world. The country, with its huge market, presents near endless opportunities to investors.
During the webinar, Koushan provided an overview of the FDI policy of India and the various routes through which a foreign company can invest in India.
Where to Invest in India?
Every state in India has a unique profile that presents challenges and opportunities to any foreign investor examining the country for expansion.
Further, Koushan compared the profiles of major FDI receiving states – Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu on parameters including governance and political climate, economic performance, infrastructure, and major investment areas, among others.
Towards the end of the session, Koushan shared a brief business intelligence case study with the participants to discuss the practical aspects of locational analysis, regulatory and licensing compliance study, and industry trends, among others.
