Vincent Li Presents on Labor Law Practices and Workforce Compliance in Vietnam

Vincent Li, Head of Business Development (China Desk) at Dezan Shira & Associates (An Ascentium Company), delivered a presentation on “Vietnam Employment Risks and Labor Law Practices in 2026” at the Bank of China × WHA Industrial Development “Financial Express Station.”

On July 24, 2026, at WHA Industrial Zone in Nghe An Province, the event brought together representatives from Bank of China, WHA Industrial Development, Dezan Shira & Associates, and Dwell Real Estate to discuss financial markets, cross-border fund management, manufacturing investment, real estate, and employment compliance in Vietnam.

Vincent’s session examined key labor law and workforce risks facing foreign-invested manufacturers in Vietnam, including employment contract compliance, working hours and overtime, internal labor regulations, payroll and social insurance obligations, employee termination procedures, and labor inspection trends. He also shared practical recommendations for strengthening HR documentation, managing factory workforces, and reducing compliance risks as companies establish or expand their manufacturing operations in Vietnam.

The event concluded with a Q&A session addressing practical issues encountered by businesses operating in Vietnam.
