You’re Fired! Terminating Employees in China
Shanghai, China | November, 24, 2015
Firing an employee can be costly especially for SME businesses. Done the wrong way, firing someone can also expose you or your company to liability or lawsuits.
Adam Livermore, Partner of Dezan Shira & Associates will walk you through the difficulties of terminating employees in China and answer questions including:
• What can you do to put your company in as strong a position as possible prior to implementing a termination?
• What kind of things should you pay special attention to during the termination process?
• What kind of circumstances can impede the termination process and what options are available to employers in such circumstances?
• What are the costs involved in terminating employees under different scenarios?
After Adam’s presentation, he will be joined by Helen Kong, HR Manager and Allan Xu, Business Advisory Manager for a panel Q&A discussion.
Canapés and your first drink are included in the price of entry.
