Dezan Shira & Associates attended the Delhi launch of the India–Australia Business Case Studies Compendium (Second Edition), a closed-door briefing that convened senior government officials, trade leaders, and business stakeholders engaged in strengthening India–Australia commercial ties.

Jointly developed by Newland Global Group and the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade under India’s Ministry of Commerce & Industry, the Compendium distils 18 months of primary research into actionable insights for companies scaling, localizing, and institutionalizing operations across the India-Australia corridor.

The launch event brought together senior representatives from government, trade bodies, and industry. Key attendees included Philip Green, Australian High Commissioner to India; Petal Dhillon, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India; Rakesh Mohan Joshi, Vice Chancellor, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade; and Anil Wadhwa, Former Ambassador of India. The discussion highlighted the importance of business-led case studies in translating policy intent into commercial outcomes.

Leadership from Newland Global Group, including Founder & CEO, Dipen Rughani and Executive Director Natasha Jha Bhaskar, shared insights from real-world company experiences operating across both markets. The session concluded with a panel discussion and stakeholder networking.

Mansi Gupta, Marketing Lead, Dezan Shira & Associates’ Australian Desk, engaged with policymakers, trade bodies, and business leaders on regulatory developments, market-entry considerations, and operational challenges faced by Australian companies in India.
