Job Description:
- Key duties/responsibilities:
- Providing legal advice and counsel to clients on a wide range of issues, related to Corporate & Investment, Merger & Acquisition, labor (especially labor regulations to expatriates), licensing, contract review/draft, legal compliances of foreign businesses and IP;
- Preparing contracts, wills, trusts, and other legal documents for clients;
- Researching and drafting complex legal documents such as contracts or agreements
- Prepare and deliver presentations as required;
- Implement legal and tax registrations/establishments/investment procedures for our clients;
- Prepare and/or review legal opinions, resolutions, contracts, other legal documents and projects for clients a timely and consistent manner;
- Liaise and strengthen relationships with local contacts and suppliers (included but not limited to government bureaus at all levels, legal, tax and other contacts);
- Any other engagement or project as advised by the line supervisor/Manager.
- Job requirements
- Year of experience: 5-8 years; having experience working at a consulting company is preferred.
- Minimum education level: Bachelor of Law University Degree in law (economics, labor and investment preferred); Lawyer Training Course is preferred;
- Ability to work independently and team-work under pressure;
- Team player with excellent communication skills and ability to interface effectively at all levels within and outside the company;
- Strong negotiating skills, oral and written communications skills in English;
- Detailed-oriented and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment;
- Flexibility, initiative and good problem-solving abilities;
- Willingness to travel whenever needed;
- Working experience in foreign companies is an asset;
- Lawyer License is a plus.
