On October 8, 2025, Dezan Shira & Associates was honored to be invited to the Incham Business Luncheon, the second edition of the year, organized by the Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam (INCHAM). The event provided Indian enterprises with valuable on-the-ground insights into investing in Vietnam, focusing on how Indian businesses can capture emerging opportunities amid global uncertainties, from market entry to operational strategies.

The luncheon brought together a diverse group of Indian business representatives from various industries, all eager to explore Vietnam’s growing potential as a strategic investment destination.

Pritesh Samuel, Head of Business Intelligence, Dezan Shira & Associates (DSA), Ho Chi Minh City, delivered a presentation titled “Investing in Vietnam: Market Entry Strategies, Opportunities & Challenges.” Pritesh provided a comprehensive overview of the Vietnam–India trade landscape, analyzing current market trends, opportunities, and challenges for Indian investors. He shared actionable strategies for market entry and expansion, offering practical guidance tailored to Indian enterprises seeking to establish or grow their presence in Vietnam.

Akshay Sharma, Co-founder & CTO, Hoozing Company, discussed “How to Use AI Tools to Improve Productivity.” Drawing from his experience as a tech entrepreneur, Akshay demonstrated practical ways AI tools can help businesses optimize costs, enhance visualization for marketing, and improve workflow efficiency and translation accuracy, highlighting the growing role of AI in modern business operations.

Mohammad Mudaseer, Executive Director, PwC Vietnam, spoke on “Managing Cash Flow in Challenging Times in Retail.” He addressed the key financial challenges facing Vietnam’s retail sector, supported by FMCG case studies, and shared strategic approaches businesses can adopt to strengthen cash flow management and profitability during periods of uncertainty.

Beyond knowledge sharing, the event fostered meaningful networking opportunities for members of the Indian business community in Vietnam. Attendees exchanged perspectives, explored collaboration prospects, and enjoyed an authentic Indian luncheon in a warm and engaging atmosphere.

“Speaking at the Incham forum was an excellent opportunity to exchange insights on the evolving India–Vietnam economic corridor as well as Vietnam’s business environment,” said Pritesh. “As Vietnam continues to advance reforms in areas such as digital governance, supply chain diversification, and green manufacturing, the country is emerging as a critical node in Asia’s production and trade networks.

For investors, this presents concrete opportunities in industrial partnerships, component sourcing, and technology transfer. The complementarities between India’s scale and Vietnam’s efficiency are becoming increasingly strategic. The way to operationalize these synergies can be done through informed investment, local partnerships, and sustained policy engagement.”
