Dezan Shira & Associates Expands Office in Dubai

April 1, 2024 – Dubai | Dezan Shira & Associates, a leading business advisory firm that helps foreign investors navigate the complexities of doing business in Asia, has announced the expansion of its capabilities in its Dubai, UAE office to now include corporate advisory and formation, tax services, and accounting and compliance services.

The strategic expansion is driven by a rising demand in the firm’s clients extending to the Middle East region, as well as from the economic growth prospects for Dubai and the Middle East in general. The UAE is forecast to lead regional GDP growth at between 3.5% and 5.9% in 2024, with its flagship city Dubai at its center, acting as the strategic hub for trade and investment between the Middle East, Asia and the rest of the world. The firm’s Dubai office will support this wider region, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Turkey.

Dubai’s trade connectivity with Asia plays a key role in this strategy as well. Countries within the GCC have signed new trade agreements recently with Indonesia and South Korea, and further agreements are under discussion with China, India and several other countries. These are altogether expected to boost trade within Asia where Dezan Shira & Associates currently supports its international clientele.

Dezan Shira & Associates aims to build on its success and reach in Asia, by deepening our investment and expertise into the Middle East and guiding clients with the high level of practical, professional, tailored services they have come to know and depend on us for”, says Alberto Vettoretti, Managing Partner.

Addressing the operational side of delivering the firms’ client services which she will assist with overseeing, Maria Kotova, Director of the Middle East Region adds: “As our clients continue to expand into the region, they will be able to leverage our expertise and network. Our Dubai teams will provide the same core market entry, corporate services and accounting solutions that our clients expect – and we will be very pleased to support them in this phase of their growth”.
