Eight important parameters were used to form a comparison between Chinese and Indian SEZs: size, location, labor laws, tax incentives, infrastructure, availability of land, development, and the dominant sector. Rohit concluded his presentation by highlighting the importance of the manufacturing sector in India’s growth trajectory and how SEZs can be utilized as manufacturing hubs to lure foreign investment in India.
