What can a Vietnamese representative office do?

The following functions are allowed legally to be carried out by representative offices in Vietnam:

• To function as a liaison office for a parent company and any of its subsidiaries;
• To promote the expansion of economic, trading, scientific and technical cooperation projects carried out by the parent company;
• To identifying and pursue any opportunities to provide economic, trading, scientific and technical services for the parent company;
• To accelerate the execution of contracts/ agreement for economic cooperation projects, trade business and scientific and technical commitments concluded between the parent company and any Vietnamese companies or organizations.
