What are some of the special treatments which automotive parts manufacturers can enjoy in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone?

The Shanghai Government released its own Negative List specifically for foreign investment in the Free Trade Zone. While the manufacturing of finished cars is still prohibited in this list as in the universal Catalogue, the latest Negative List released in 2015 removes the restrictions on new energy batteries and embedded systems. Meanwhile, the Shanghai government placed new restrictions on the production of new energy vehicles and stated that producers of electrical passenger vehicles must be their own brand and their own intellectual property and patents.
