What are cross-border economic zones in China?
Q&AThey are designed to develop trade and export processing industries at China’s border areas. Usually, cooperation zones and/or joint projects with the neighboring countries are to be found. Preferential tax treatments, such as special value-added tax refunds for reinvesting and other governmental awards, are offered to attract investments.
