BRITALKS- Belt and Road Initiative Talks

Seminar | 16 May 2019 | Milan Italy

Italy and China already have solid commercial and diplomatic relations since over 40 years. In addition to that, a strong new recent impetus to strengthen diplomatic and business cooperations came last March 23, when Italy has signed a memorandum of understanding with China in support of Beijing's “Belt and Road” initiative. Doing so, Italy has become the first G7 country to officially endorse President Xi Jinping’s plan to build a modern version of the ancient Silk Road.

Belt and Road initiative is an amazing opportunity for Italian companies to expand their business into China and into the over 130 countries that joined the initiative.

On May 16, in Milan, at the headquarter of Azimut Holding S.p.a. - the leading independent Italian Group operating in asset management and wealth advisory -  the first BRI Talks seminar will take place.

The seminar, co-organized by Azimut, Dezan Shira & Associates and Studio Previti Associazione Professionale aims at helping companies from multiple industries to better understand how to take the most out of BRI.

Giovanni Lovisetti, Senior Associate Manager at Dezan Shira & Associates’s Milan Office, will speak about how the Greater Bay Area is fueling growth along the Belt and Road and why Italian investors should pay particular attention to that area.

The panel of speakers will also include: Mr. Federico Antonelli - Italian Embassy in Beijing; Mr. Andrea Ghizzoni -  Tencent Group - Italia; Mr. Alessio Pulsinelli -  HKDTC (Hong Kong Trade Development Council); Mr. Oliviero Pulcini, Mr.  Stefano Chao and Mr. Giorgio Medda - Azimut; Mr. Andrea Bernasconi and Ms. Teresa Cacciapaglia – Studio Previti;

A live streaming of BRI Talks will be available at the following link: http://www.britalks.com
