Giovanni Lovisetti

BIO

Giovanni Lovisetti works as Senior Associate on the International Business Advisory team. He is based in Dezan Shira & Associates’ Milan Liaison office, providing Italian SMEs and multinational companies with a wide range of services aimed at promoting and facilitating the investment process in China. His specialization lies in laws and procedures regarding foreign direct investment in China. He also gained experience in assisting Chinese companies doing business in Italy.  

Giovanni holds a Master's Degree in Law from the University of Milan and an LL.M. in Chinese Law from Tsinghua University in Beijing. He is a qualified lawyer and a member of the Milan Bar Association since 2012.

Just before joining Dezan Shira & Associates, Giovanni was Vice Manager at the Bureau of Commerce of Foshan, a local unit of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, co-managing the department for the attraction and management of foreign investment. He previously worked as a business lawyer for Italian law firms assisting private and corporate clients in Italy and in China.
