Senior Associate / Assistant Manager, Corporate Accounting Service
Location: India, Mumbai
Function: Corporate Accounting Services
Role: Associate
Principal Responsibilities: (Essential Functions)
Client Accounting and Tax Services
- Monthly/quarterly accounting and management reporting for clients
- Preparation of unaudited financial statements
- Quarterly GST reporting and reconciliation
- Annual corporate income tax computation and filing
- Maintain and securely store the accounting vouchers, accounts and other documents of the clients;
- Assist the customers to improve internal capital / fund management, and provide proper consultancy related to the financial management of the clients;
- Regularly analyze and check accounting data, identifying and settling problems in a timely and accurate manner;
- Manage the meetings with the potential international clients and present the services independently and in conjunction with the team members;
- Organize the technical trainings to the team members;
- Travel when necessary to offices located in Singapore and around the region;
- Attend and present at international and internal meetings;
- Represent the firm at international conferences;
- Provide services and advisory relating to taxation;
- Participate in accounting and taxation services relating to ad-hoc projects for clients;
- Support to the business development and the presentation activities in the relation to the implementation of new company business lines and services related to various ERP systems;
- Conduct financial internal review and develop techniques to analyze financial / operational performance results of potential targets companies;
- Chase up CAS clients for outstanding receivables in an efficient manner;
- Co-manage the development of the Singapore office and around the region operations together with the partner of the firm;
- Prepare the presentations and write the articles on tax and accounting topics.
- Other tasks assigned by the Company;
Client Payroll Services
- Monthly payroll processing
- Preparation of IR8A/ AIS for clients
- Foreign employee tax clearance (IR21)
- Other ad-hoc administrative tasks
Job Requirements
Skills and experience
- Minimum 2 to 3 years relevant experience
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Knowledge in accounting and payroll preferred
- Experience with XERO and its ecosystem APP preferred
- Good practice with payroll software in Singapore and around the region
- Ability to work as a good team player
- High level of initiative and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Educational Background
Minimum Certification / Diploma in Accountancy or Business.
