Chris Devonshire-Ellis, founder and chairman of Dezan Shira & Associates, has been chosen as an advisor for The New Silk Road Project, which is an innovative take to understand the development of the new Silk Road and the plethora of challenges and opportunities that it presents.

The objective of the project is to explore the emergence of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), an initiative taken by China to revive the historic Silk Road trade.

Chris is also a contributor on The New Silk Road Project’s website and will be providing commentary on the political and trade aspects of China’s Belt & Road Initiative as the project team members move along with their journey.

In his recent article – ‘The EU Silk Road – Making Sense of Mixed Political Signals Between London, Rotterdam, Duisburg & Berlin’ – he analyzes the relationship between China and several European nations in regard to the Silk Road project. To read the complete article, please click here.
