Setting up in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone for the China Europe International Business School

Maria Kotova, international business advisory associate at the Shanghai offices of Dezan Shira & Associates will present on the Shanghai Free Trade Zone for the alumni of the China Europe International Business School on May 10 at the Andaz Hotel in Xintiandi. Her presentation will cover the practical and operational issues of setting up and operating in the Zone. Maria will discuss such hot topics as the reduction of the negative list, and potential opportunities for e-commerce, international logistics companies, and value-added communications. The presentation will begin at 6pm and include time for Q&A.

Maria Kotova is an associate in the international business advisory services team of Dezan Shira & Associates. She guides foreign-invested companies through the process of setting up, operating and expanding their businesses in China. Maria has followed the progress of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone since its inception and is involved with several current projects in the Zone. Maria has a master's degree in management and Chinese from South China Normal University and a bachelor's degree in international relations from Saint Petersburg State Polytechnic University.
