(Senior) Manager, International Business Advisory

Key Responsibilities:

Singapore Business Development:

  • Meeting with existing and/or potential clients independently or as a team to introduce Dezan Shira's services; to understand client needs; to advise on strategic business, operational, legal, tax, and accounting, payroll and IT issues affecting their business plans;
  • Preparing service proposals, legal contracts and following up with potential clients to conclude agreements for the provision of services;
  • Serving as a project leader on cross departmental and/or multi-country projects
  • Serving as a representative of Dezan Shira at business and community events;
  • Expanding Dezan Shira's client base and represent the firm locally and internationally as needed;
  • Developing new services together with Dezan Shira colleagues

 ASEAN Business Development:

  • Candidate will be required to target new markets to develop new business opportunities;
  • Attracting foreign direct investments into Singapore and/or subsequent outward investment into the ASEAN region;
  • Bridging communications between clients and Singapore and/or ASEAN partners professionally;

 Consulting and Project / Account Management:

  • Providing business advisory (including legal, tax, accounting, human resource regulations) to foreign clients into investing in Singapore and the ASEAN region;
  • Working together with Dezan Shira colleagues across different countries as needed

 Public Relations and Communications:

  • Writing articles and delivering presentations to foreign investors and companies on investing in Singapore and the ASEAN region, independently or as a team;
  • Promoting Dezan Shira's services and increase the organization's exposure internationally

 Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the foreign direct investment, business advisory and consulting industry;
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification(s);
  • Demonstrable track record of business development into Asia from foreign direct investments in the Chinese market;
  • Ability to quickly establish and build relationships with clients, including comfortably engaging C-levels;
  • Ability to communicate technical and business concepts.
