India’s Business Environment: Liberalizing FDI Norms
The business environment in India is steadily improving year on year. The government has liberalized FDI norms and implemented a number of measures to improve the ease of doing business; simplifying and digitizing the existing legal regimes. As a result of these initiatives, India now ranks 77th in the world for ease of doing business (World Bank).
The luncheon was held in the middle of the Chicago-leg of Rohit’s U.S. business trip. He was accompanied by Head of North American Business Development, Dustin Daugherty. While in Chicago, they met with prospective clients who were strategizing an expansion in India as well as with partners of the firm.
