Savantha is the Senior Partner at D. L. & F. De Saram and was called to the Bar in 1999. His main practice areas are corporate and commercial law, projects and infrastructure, as well as banking and finance. He has also done extensive work in the areas of securitization, information technology, admiralty, real estate, shipping, and international trade.
