Jannette Kumala
Bio
Having joined Dezan Shira & Associates in September 2017 after receiving her LL.M. (Master of Law) degree from UC Berkeley, School of Law in the same year, Jannette Kumala oversees Dezan Shira & Associates’ services and growth in Indonesia. Jannette is a qualified Indonesian lawyer and a member of PERADI (Indonesian Advocates Bar Association).
Prior to joining Dezan Shira & Associates, Jannette worked as a corporate lawyer at a top international law firm based in Jakarta for over four years, focusing on capital market and M&A in the property development, construction, food and beverage, hospitality, manufacturing, consumer goods, hospital, and transportation service industries, among others.
Jannette also holds a bachelor of law degree from Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya. Jannette was selected as a recipient of a full scholarship from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia for the year of 2016. She is fluent in both English and Indonesian.
