Made in Vietnam - Seminar on Capturing Investment & Business Opportunities in Vietnam

Kowloon, Hong Kong | March 17, 2016

Vietnam has officially entered into the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement in October 2015, becoming one of only twelve member states that support freer trade in Asia-pacific. Economists believe that Vietnam’s export to USA, Japan, Australia and Korea will grow exponentially. This will expand Vietnam’s export market through enhanced competitiveness in its core industries, such as garment and textiles, footwear and furniture. Vietnam has also secured FTA status with the EU in late 2015.

In view of the potential trade benefits from TPP, many foreign manufacturers have located their businesses into Vietnam. To learn more about the business opportunities in Vietnam, the FHKI co-organises a seminar with Vietnam Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIP), supported by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Hong Kong and Macau, Hong Kong Business Association Vietnam, HSBC, Deloitte Vietnam and ourselves, Dezan Shira & Associates China-Vietnam. Our managing partner, Alberto Vettoretti will be speaking on the options and implications of the free trade agreements for manufacturers in Hong Kong.
