How will VAT Tax Reform Affect Your Business?

Guangzhou, China | June 6, 2016 | 14:00 - 16:00

During the 4th session of the 12th National People's Congress, Premier Li Keqiang announced that the official reform of the VAT reform will be officially implemented from 1st May 2016. Under the new system, taxes in 4 major industries (construction, property, finance and consumer service) will now be applicable to VAT instead of business tax. The original business tax will effectively cease to apply. This VAT tax reform aims to reduce the burden on service companies and encourage factory transformation. This tax overhaul has brought substantial impact on the economy and brings the biggest challenge to China's financial and taxation authorities.

In this seminar, we will take a closer look at the details of this new VAT tax reform, how it will affect your business, and our presenter Mr. Stephen O'Regan will share his suggestions on a need to know basis for tax payers.
