In recent years, China has developed an extensive regulatory framework on cybersecurity, data usage, and data protection. These laws, collectively known as China’s Cybersecurity Laws, have impacted all companies doing business in China, and most especially those generating data there.

Enforcement of these laws has been picking up with both domestic and foreign firms finding themselves in the authority’s radar. A more recent high-profile example is Walmart who was just found to have 19 cybersecurity loopholes in their online network in late 2021.

In this webinar, partner at Dezan Shira & Associates, Kyle Freeman, will provide businesses with an overview of China’s cyber security environment, which laws are relevant for businesses doing business in and with China, and what companies should do now about the regulations.
