A Practical Guide to Doing Business in China with GMK Partners

Dezan Shira & Associates is pleased to announce a joint presentation with fellow Leading Edge Alliance member GMK Partners in Melbourne. This presentation will be given by Richard Cant, the Regional Director of the Shanghai and Yangtze River Delta offices.  He will cover topics such as an introduction to the legal structures of foreign–invested companies in China, the Chinese taxation system, the investment environment and the newly-opened Shanghai Free Trade Zone.

Richard, an Australian lawyer and Certified Public Accountant, has worked in business and commercial consulting both in Australia and China for the past 20 years. During this time he has amassed a huge wealth of business knowledge, especially in the areas of corporate accounting services and business advisory services in China and Hong Kong.
