DSA’s subsidiary Asia Briefing (AB), publishes business news and analysis in the form of articles and magazines which are regionally focused through its sub-brands, China Briefing, Vietnam Briefing, ASEAN Briefing, India Briefing and others.
Position Overview:
We invite you to join our dynamic Web Development team during this exciting and innovative time in this industry. Our collective focus centers on enhancing the user interface and user experience (UI/UX) of our website across diverse platforms, while also providing valuable support to the marketing team through the integration of cutting-edge technologies.
In this role, you will support the Web Development team with fresh creative perspectives that assist our design processes and propel engaging projects forward. Your involvement will extend to coding interfaces in accordance with industry-standard guidelines. Your participation within our highly agile development team will enable your continued involvement in some of our company's flagship initiatives. Duration: 3 to 6 months
Responsibilities
- Support development teams by handling various tasks related to maintaining the company's nine different websites.
- Design and implement user-friendly interfaces for the company's websites, pages, and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the web development team to create interactive user interfaces (UI) for different website components.
- Actively participate in the design process, offering innovative ideas and insights to the team.
Preferred qualifications and skills:
- Proficiency in utilizing design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator to create mockups, prototypes, and final UI designs.
- Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS standards, demonstrated by the ability to produce clean and efficient code that results in well-structured, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Proficiency in writing efficient and effective JavaScript code to bring interactive UI designs to life.
- A fundamental understanding of version control tools like GIT.
- Basic familiarity with build tool stacks, including NPM, NODE, SASS, and Babel, to facilitate the compilation and optimization of UI components for seamless deployment.
