Holly McCleery is an Associate with the North American Desk in the Shanghai office. She assists in partnership development with North American organizations, associations, and firms and organizes marketing activities for the U.S. and Canadian markets.
Holly has spent a combined 8 years on-the-ground in China, is thoroughly comfortable in a cross-cultural context, and is deeply familiar with Chinese culture. Prior to joining Dezan Shira & Associates she worked with technology WFOEs and Chinese private enterprises in China’s ‘Silicon Valley’, Shenzhen, managing their digital marketing presence in the international marketplace.
Holly has a master’s degree in International Business and graduated Summa Cum Laude with dual bachelor’s degrees in Chinese Studies and International Studies from West Virginia University. She was a Critical Language Scholar through the U.S. State Department and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
