With the recent passage of the Companies (Amendment) (No.2) Bill 2024, Hong Kong has officially introduced a company re-domiciliation regime. This significant development allows eligible companies established outside of Hong Kong to relocate their place of incorporation to the city, opening new pathways for international businesses to leverage Hong Kong’s strategic advantages.

To help international companies better understand the implications and opportunities of this policy change, we invite you to a joint event co-hosted by Dezan Shira & Associates and the German Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. Radomir Tomovic, International Business Advisory Manager at Dezan Shira & Associates will provide strategic advice to international firms considering long-term planning and operational flexibility in Asia.

Agenda:

  • An overview of the re-domiciliation mechanism
  • Practical guidance on legal and tax considerations
  • Real-world implications for companies operating regionally
