CII Northern Region Annual Regional Meeting & Annual Conference

The Annual Conference of CII Northern Region will be held on Thursday, 19th March 2015 at Hotel Le Meridien,New Delhi.

The theme of the Annual Conference is“Make in India : Focus North”. CII believes that the Government’s clarion call ‘Make in India’, will go a long way in positioning India as preferred manufacturing destination and enabler for creating employment opportunities. Taking forward the Make in India mission, the Annual Conference will have thought provoking discussions on leveraging opportunities and potential by the stakeholders; facilitating ease of doing business at state level and positive governance which are the key enablers for accelerating growth ... investments and employment.

The Conference will bring together renowned policy makers, strategic thinkers, Industry CEOs, academicians and institutions to share their thoughts and how the vision of Make in North could translate into actions on the ground in the north

Adam Pitman will represent Dezan Shira and Associates at this event. He  is the Manager for International Business Advisory services at Dezan Shira & Associates in New Delhi, India.

Adam creates practical solutions for international businesses with an interest in India.

Based in Asia since 2009, Adam utilizes his experience delivering intelligence support and strategic advice to pinpoint risks and opportunities for clients in India. He also reports on pressing issues facing businesses for the India Briefing and Asia Briefing publications. His areas of expertise include international business advisory, market entry studies, investigations, business intelligence, and editorial publications.

Before joining Dezan Shira & Associates, Adam directed intelligence operations for a leading business risk consultancy in Southeast Asia. From his office in the Philippines, Adam managed an array of intelligence products for clientele that included Fortune 500 companies, foreign government agencies, multilateral organizations, and media groups. He advised clients on complex regional and thematic issues, providing clear-sighted operational support.

Adam previously served in India as a senior analyst with a top global risk consultancy. He analyzed political and security developments for a clientele that included 92% of the Fortune Global 100 companies and 64% of the Fortune Global 500 companies. During his time with the consultancy, Adam also managed an intelligence product that advised executive-level clients on the most significant risks to businesses in India.

Adam has worked with non-profit organizations in the US, UK and India. He holds MSc in Comparative Politics from London School of Economics and Political Science, UK. Adam has a BA in International Politics from Middlesex University, UK. He is a native of Minnesota, US.
