3rd Workshop on Europe-China Relations in Global Politics: Regional Integration in Asia and Europe

Dezan Shira & Associates Managing Partner, Mr. Alberto Vettoretti, will be part of a discussion on regional integration in Europe at the UACES Collaborative Research Network on EU-China Relations 3rd Workshop on Europe-China Relations in Global Politics on March 13-14, 2014. Regional integration is becoming an integral part of global politics, as trade agreements and economic partnerships around the world continue to grow. The discussions will raise many questions, such as:

  • How does regional integration in Asia and Europe change the relations to the US and vice versa?
  • Does regional integration help Asian and European economies and companies keep or regain their competitiveness?
  • What is the impact of regional integration on peripheral countries?
  • What role do leading countries in Asia and Europe play in regional integration processes, most notably China and Germany?

Mr. Vettoretti is specialized in corporate structuring, tax planning and legal and management issues affecting foreign-invested enterprises in China, Hong Kong and Vietnam. He is currently the Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce, Pearl River Delta Chapter, and has over 15 years of experience with foreign investment in China.
