Finance Manager

Principal Responsibilities:

• Client Accounting and Tax Services:
• Lead a team responsible for monthly and quarterly and annual accounting, management reporting, and the preparation of unaudited financial statements for our clients.
• Handle quarterly GST reporting and reconciliation, along with annual corporate income tax computations and filings.
• Maintain meticulous records of accounting vouchers, accounts, and other client documents, ensuring their security and confidentiality.
• Analyze accounting data regularly to identify and resolve issues promptly and accurately.
• Independently manage and conduct meetings with potential clients, presenting our services effectively.
• Design and deliver technical training sessions for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Travel as required to clients in Singapore and other regional locations for client meetings and operational coordination.
• Attend and contribute to internal meetings and represent our firm at international conferences.
• Provide expert advisory services in taxation, including CIT, GST, WHT, IIT, and foreign employee tax clearance (IR21).
• Engage in special projects related to accounting and taxation as needed.
• Uphold strict compliance with all accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Skills and Experience:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance management.
• Profound knowledge of accounting standards and practical application.
• In-depth understanding of Singapore Tax, GST, CPF, and filing requirements.
• Highly organized, meticulous, and capable of working both independently and as an integral part of a team.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly XERO, and familiarity with its ecosystem apps.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of initiative and thrive in a high-pressure environment.

Educational Background:

• A minimum of a Diploma in Accountancy, Business, or a related field is required.
