Vinay Mathur is a Chartered Accountant with over 33 years of leadership experience at Heineken, PepsiCo, Suntory and Arthur Andersen.
Vinay brought the Heineken investment to Timor Leste and ran the very successful business as its Managing Director. He is also the cofounder of Halodili Lda, the largest e-commerce platform in Timor Leste and a preferred institutional supplier.
Currently, he is the Partner at Think Forward Consulting Lda, a Timorese firm which are external auditors to numerous state-owned companies, agencies and NGOs. Think Forward supports organizations on audits, training, SOPs and systems implementation, finance function services and support for international investors.
He also runs an advisory firm based in Singapore, New Vista Advisors Pte Ltd, which supports mid-sized businesses in their journey from good to great. New Vista are strategic CFO and growth catalysts for businesses in Singapore, Indonesia and Africa.
Vinay has deep operating knowledge and interest in Timor Leste and is passionate about private and related sector growth and development in the country; towards creating jobs and prosperity for the people of Timor Leste.
