Bio

Simon Laube is an Assistant Manager with the International Business Advisory team at Dezan Shira & Associates’ Shanghai office. He guides foreign investors through their market entry process into China and North-East Asia — from pre-entry assessment to corporate structuring, and ongoing support in conjunction with his tax, accounting, and payroll colleagues.

Simon is also the point of contact for the company’s German Desk in China and manages the Dezan Shira Asian Alliance for Japan and South Korea.

Before joining Dezan Shira & Associates, Simon acquired extensive experience in international business management, leading the Europe office of a boutique American trading company in the automotive and motorcycle industries. His deep engagement with business partners in Asia as well as the expertise he developed managing mass production supply chains in the region, led him to his current position in Shanghai.

Simon holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Munich (LMU) and an MBA from Hitotsubashi University School of International Corporate Strategy, Tokyo. He speaks fluently German as well as English and is proficient in Japanese.
