As the Country Director of Dezan Shira & Associates Vietnam, Vivie Wei is responsible for overseeing and managing the firm's operations across Vietnam. She also serves as the principal contact for Chinese outbound direct investment (ODI) in Southeast Asia.
Vivie began her career in the consulting and corporate services industry in 2014. Since then, she has offered expert guidance to international corporations on establishing overseas operations and restructuring for compliance.
Before joining Dezan Shira & Associates, Vivie gained significant experience as an accountant, auditor, and corporate key account service manager in Shanghai, where she successfully led corporate service teams. Her expertise spans advising clients in various industries, including retail, e-commerce, food and beverage, industrial manufacturing, and chemicals, across both China and the ASEAN region. Vivie relocated to Vietnam in 2022.
Originally from Guizhou, China, Vivie is an integral member of the firm's Chinese Desk. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Taxation Law from Shanghai Business School.
