Manager, Business Advisory Services Department (Legal Department)
Location: Guangzhou
Job description:
-
Managing the business advisory service department by following up on client’s inquiry, workload allocation and other necessary activities for the orderly operation of the department;
-
Research on legal and tax issues/investment regulations, scenarios and alternatives for our existing and potential international clients;
-
Implementing legal registrations/investment procedures for our clients portfolio;
-
Independently complete or cooperate with colleagues on FIEs setup documents preparation;
-
Liaison with governments authorities to understand local policy and practice;
-
Site visit of government organs to submit documents and collect information;
-
Meet independently and/or with a company team with existing and potential clients and advise over legal and tax issues affecting their investment plans for China;
-
Follow up on clients establishment and conversion into tax/accounting retainers with colleagues from the tax/accounting department;
-
Provide advice on legal issues of retainer clients;
-
Conduct legal due diligence on target companies, draft of legal contracts and documents;
-
Writing articles or making presentations on legal/investment and other related matters;
-
Internal training;
-
Provide content and articles for internal and partners publications;
-
Assist in some office administrations if needed.
Requirements:

Law degree or above
-
> 3 years work experience in similar industry

Other foreign language a plus

Asia Briefing Editor Assistant, Italian publications (internship) - based in Dezan Shira & Associates Guangzhou office
Job description:

Draft, review, coordinate and/or translate all Asia Briefing publications and other material in Italian;
-
Maintain current and increase new collaboration with Italian media and partner publications;
-
Translate the China Briefing monthly magazine (from English to Italian) and coordinate the related hard copy and electronic distribution;

Coordinate all Marketing and Distribution policies through the Italian community in China and abroad;
-
Translate, review and proof read all material related to DSA and Asia Briefing as required;

Prepare and coordinate the China Briefing News in Italian;

Increase Asia Briefing and DSA visibility among Italian SMEs in China and abroad
Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Marketing, Scienze delle Comunicazioni, Scienze Politiche, Scienze Internazionali o similar from recognized Italian University.

Proficiency of written and spoken English

Native Italian speaker

Previous experience in publication a plus.

Understanding of HTML, CMS, InCopy and Photoshop a plus

Responsibilities
-Compose publicity material, promotional flyers and brochures etc. in liaison with our National Marketing team
-Assist with the PR of DSA/AB products and services
