Key duties/responsibilities:

Business and Channel Development:

  • Execute a business development plan within an assigned global region, comprised of direct client, channel, and marketing activities, engagements and outcome objectives;
  • Strategically manage a portfolio of assigned SME and LE accounts, by developing new and existing clients and expanding our services relationships with them, to ensure YTY revenue growth;
  • Develop industry partner relationships and productive referral channels with professional firms, remotely and via International travel;
  • Meet with prospects and existing clients to deepen our relationships with them across appropriate lines of business at C-level, discover and understand their business objectives in Asia, and position DSA to advise them on related legal, tax, accounting and HR requirements;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the assigned accounts and regional partner eco-systems within your assigned region;


  • Project Coordination:

  • Guide pre-contract services scoping, and eventual service delivery, at regional and local levels, together with the International Business Advisory teams and Service Line leaders, across DSA’s Asia offices;
  • Ensure that proposals and contracts accurately address clients’ objectives, qualified requirements and agreed scope of engagements;
  • Communicate with clients to identify account issues, and coordinate across the firm to assist in resolving these issues, to maximize client satisfaction and mutual account relationship value;


  • Expertise and Advisory:
  • Research and develop subject expertise in matters of FDI-related legal, tax, and accounting compliance and structures in China and Asia, in order to knowledgeably advise and connect clients appropriately with our project-based and long term professional advisory and management services;


  • Requirements:

    Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor degree or higher (Business, Legal or Accounting background is desirable);
  • At least five years of Business Development or Client Management related work experience in a B2B professional services field: accounting, tax, law, finance or corporate advisory;


  • Language abilities:

  • Excellent business-level English writing and speaking skills;
  • PLUS native German language (Mandarin and other languages are also a plus);


  • Key Skills and Characteristics:

  • Ability to work effectively cross-organizationally, within a multicultural team;
  • Organized; Detail-oriented; Takes proactive initiative; Sound judgment;
  • Dynamic and effective communicator; Able to advise senior managers/executives at both overview and technical levels;
  • Knowledge of the professional services disciplines mentioned (some additional familiarity with ICR, BPM and ERP a plus);
