Alberto Vettoretti Speaks at Indonesia Business Meeting Hosted by the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Guangzhou

Alberto Vettoretti, Managing Partner of Dezan Shira & Associates (DSA), took the stage as a speaker at the Indonesia Business Meeting, hosted by the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Guangzhou on January 23, 2024, held in Shenzhen.

The meeting primarily revolved around the 2024 China Economic Outlook and delved into investment opportunities and challenges in Indonesia for Chinese enterprises. Esteemed attendees included representatives from the Indonesian Ministry of Investment, the China Committee of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia), the Indonesia Chamber of Commerce in China (INACHAM), prominent Indonesian Banks representatives in China alongside prestigious members from the Indonesian and Chinese business community.

During his briefing, Alberto provided strategic perspectives tailored for Chinese firms venturing into the Indonesian market. He also addressed the forthcoming election’s potential impact on Indonesia’s investment landscape in 2024.

Alberto highlighted the current industries where Chinese businesses are involved in Indonesia as well as future investment opportunities. China is Indonesia’s largest trade partner, and the country plays a crucial role in important industries in Indonesia, such as downstream nickel processing.

The engagement solidifies DSA’s commitment to nurturing international connections through strategic partnerships with foreign governments and chambers of commerce while reinforcing its position as a key player in fostering cross-border business partnerships in Asia and beyond.
