Shenzhen Office Welcomes New International Business Advisory Manager, Guilherme Campos, to Lead South China Team

Dezan Shira & Associates is pleased to announce that Guilherme Campos, International Business Advisory Manager, has relocated from our Hong Kong office to Shenzhen, where he will lead our South China International Business Advisory (IBA) team. Guilherme’s addition to our Shenzhen office allows us to continue to provide investors with leading business advisory for establishing and growing their operations in Asia.

Within the team, Guilherme advises corporate investors on legal and tax compliance along with establishing and expanding their business in the China and ASEAN regions, with a specific focus on GBA.

With a growing focus from both domestic and international parties, China’s Greater Bay Area (GBA) in the South is expected to be the country’s next growth engine.  The ambitious plan to transform the GBA into an international area that will rival other world-class city clusters such as New York and Tokyo, has captured the attention of investors.  Guilherme’s move to Shenzhen, one of the key cities behind the GBA’s driving economic force, will assist in scaling up operations and bring additional leading-edge expertise to our team.

About Guilherme Campos

Within the team, Guilherme advises corporate investors on legal and tax compliance along with establishing and expanding their business in the China and ASEAN regions, with a specific focus on GBA. Fluent in English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese, Guilherme is also a member of the firm’s Italian and Spanish Desks, special advisory teams dedicated to supporting Italian and Spanish firms navigate the Asian market.

Prior to joining DSA, Guilherme worked with other advisory firms in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Macao, serving mainly small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Through his extensive experience, he has gained long-standing consulting expertise and a thorough understanding of the Greater China market.
