Paul Presents on updates and implications of the new IIT law

Paul detailed a number of key concerns, such as the impact of the new IIT Law on foreign workers in China, implications of dispatching foreign employees to China, and whether foreign employees can create a permanent establishment for the HQ.

The IIT reform, in force since January 1, 2019, has made it vital for Foreign Invested Companies in China to understand when seconded foreign employees (sent to China by their HQ) become subject to China’s new IIT law.
