Siddhartha is the Senior Associate of Business Intelligence at Dezan Shira & Associates in New Delhi, India.
Siddhartha provides business intelligence solutions for multinational companies invested in Asia.
Siddhartha produces special market entry reports for clients expanding in Asia. In addition to monitoring business, economic, legal and regulatory issues across Asian markets, such as China, India and ASEAN member countries, he also reports on complex business and market issues for Asia Briefing publications. Siddhartha’s areas of expertise include, open source intelligence, market entry studies, risk assessments and business consulting.
Before joining Dezan Shira & Associates, Siddhartha worked in India as a senior analyst with a leading global risk consultancy. In this role, Siddhartha analyzed geo-political risks and provided security assessments for over 90 percent of the Fortune 100 companies and 60 percent of Fortune 500 companies. Siddhartha previously worked with the Indian Council of World Affairs in New Delhi and with Oxfam in London, United Kingdom.
Siddhartha holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Exeter, U.K. The University of Exeter Debating Society has awarded Siddhartha an honorary lifetime membership. Siddhartha has a BA (Honors) in Economics from Ramjas College, University of Delhi, India. He was the president of the Ramjas College Debating Society and winner of several national and international debating awards. Siddhartha is a native of New Delhi.
