BIO

Christopher Liptau is an Assistant Manager on the International Business Advisory team of Dezan Shira & Associates. As head of the German desk, Christopher supports corporate Investors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland but also from many other countries. His expertise include corporate set-up in China, bookkeeping, audit and General compliance in China. He has many years of consulting experience in the seafood, beverage and manufacturing Industry.

Within the German desk, Christopher looks after the firm’s German accounts, oversees German Content and publications, and manages German business and media partnerships.

Prior to joining Dezan Shira & Associates, Christopher was responsible for international business in a regional Chinese accounting and audit firm in Qingdao. Christopher holds an MBA degree from the University of Liverpool, and a Magister Artium degree from the University of Bonn. During his studies he also spent one year at the University of Hong Kong to study Chinese economics and politics.
