What is the main advantage that attracts FDI in Vietnam?

Vietnam has a favorable business climate, and cost advantages with labor costs being relatively inexpensive compared to other Asian countries, such as China. Recently a number of foreign MNC’s, in industries from services to manufacturing, have moved their operations from China to Vietnam. This is mainly to exploit  cost advantages, even if the skill gap forces employers in Vietnam to spend more time and money in training and/or retaining hires. According to a recent survey, 70 percent of employers would recommend Vietnam as a business location, while about 75 percent would re-establish their business in the country.
