职位概要: Job Summary

 The individuals holding assistant manager positions are expected to be able to handle a wide range of coordination and communication between Dezan Shira clients, partners, and our internal team members.  While the core of their job focuses on accounting, and the clients they look after will be outsourcing their accounting work to Dezan Shira, the role involves far more than simply overseeing a team of subordinates to complete the monthly accounting process.

 The individuals holding these positions will mainly be managing client relationships on a more analytical and strategic level.  They will be identifying problems and opportunities for clients, and working closely with other teams to provide various solutions.  Each assistant manager will be expected to look after a number of VIP and smaller clients.  They will understand the business of their clients, and communicate with their management overseas as well as their local China team.

 Assistant managers will have a small team reporting into them, but will also be expected to work with other colleagues across the Dezan Shira group on a project basis.  Strong accounting and tax knowledge is a prerequisite for this role, but an enthusiasm to learn about non-accounting aspects of Dezan Shira’s operations is equally important.  A strong interest / background in IT is considered highly advantageous.

Principal Responsibilities: (Essential Functions)

主要职责(核心功能)

  •  Ensure the provision of a high-quality corporate accounting service to the Foreign Invested Enterprises (FIEs) which are Dezan Shira’s clients:

确保公司为外商投资企业的客户提供高质量的企业会计服务:

 ○    Ensure compliance with the applicable P.R.C. laws, regulations, codes and rules of accounting as well as local practices;

确保符合中华人民共和国适用的法律、法规、会计准则和本地惯例;

 ○    Coordinate with clients to understand their business, then identify their changing requirements and expectations of our service.  Work with colleagues from other teams to provide solutions and continuously enhance our service provision;

与客户协作,了解客户的业务,确定客户不断变化的需求和对我们服务的期望。与其他团队的同事合作,提供解决方案,不断提高我们的服务水平;

 ○    Analyze the monthly client accounting data from the online dashboards, identify any exceptional situations and provide supplemental explanations for the easy understanding of clients;

从在线报表上分析每个月客户的会计数据,如若发现异常情况,及时进行补充说明,便于客户理解;

 ○  Be proactively involved in the conversion and onboarding of new clients, presenting our services in a professional manner;

积极参与新客户的转换与承接,以专业的方式提供我们的服务;

 ○  Manage a small team in Dalian office to support processing work and handle projects;

管理大连办公室的一个小团队,以支持处理相关工作及项目事宜;

 ○  Communicate with various government authorities and other related organizations, including the tax authority, public finance office, banks and CPA firms;

与政府部门及其他相关机构进行沟通,包括税局,财务局,银行及会计师事务所等;

 ○   Travel when necessary to other offices around China.

  •   Participate in various ad-hoc projects for clients:

○   Join financial due diligence engagements;

○   Work with Information Systems team to coordinate effective data transfer between Dezan Shira and client systems.

  •   Follow up with clients for outstanding receivables in an efficient manner:

○   Delivery of presentations on selected topics both internally and externally;

○   Prepare articles on tax and accounting topics.

  • Be capable of independently preparing accounting vouchers, ledgers and financial statements in English in a timely, accurate & efficient manner for multiple clients (Wholly Owned Foreign Invested Enterprises, Joint ventures, Representative Offices, etc.)

  • Be capable of providing reliable information relating to accounting & tax compliance and reporting package upon Clients’ request

Educational Background

教育背景

  • Bachelor/above degree, major in accounting or taxation

会计或税务专业,学士或学士以上学位

  • Possession of certification as a middle level Chinese professional accountant is a plus

拥有中国中级会计师职称者优先

 

 Experience

经验

  • 5-10 years full-time related working experience in Wholly Owned Foreign Invested Enterprises or similar role experience is a plus

5-10年全职外商投资企业工作经验或会计外包相关经验者优先

  • Experience of working in a manufacturing or trading environment and experience dealing with VAT refund is a plus

制造或贸易企业及出口退税经验优先
