Vikas is a member of our Business Advisory Services unit in Mumbai & Chennai. Vikas advises clients on incorporation and legal inputs concerning their India investments.
Vikas qualified from Symbiosis International University of Pune as a lawyer, and then obtained his Masters in International Business Law from National University of Singapore. He also holds a diploma in securities and investment laws in India. Prior to joining Dezan Shira & Associates he worked in Taiwan as in-house legal counsel for Gigabyte Technology in Taipei, where he worked in the field of intellectual property rights. Vikas has worked as a legal associate in the corporate division of KJSV Advocates and Solicitors, Mumbai. His areas of expertise include, advising on foreign direct investment and investment restructuring in India. He also handles issues concerning international tax and setup of business entities in India. He speaks fluent English, Hindi and has a working knowledge of Mandarin.”
