Chris Devanshire Allice BeatriceChris Devonshire-Ellis, Founding Partner and Chairman of Dezan Shira & Associates, has financed a successful and groundbreaking haute couture fashion collection at Estonia’s Fashion week.

Working with local designer Beatrice Fenice, Devonshire-Ellis arranged for materials to be sourced from across the Silk Road regions and provided the capital to help get the show off the ground.

Following the show, Devonshire-Ellis said, “Beatrice is a good friend and a well-known figure in Estonia. For this 2018 collection, I suggested having a Silk Road theme as our practice has been so involved with China’s Belt and Road Initiative  and I thought it would be fun to do.”

Entitled “Road”, the collection was launched to rave reviews in Estonian media. One review said, “Beatrice surprised the first day of Tallinn Fashion Week with a spectacular spectacle inspired by the Silk Road” when describing the colors and energy of the collection.

Devonshire-Ellis further explained, “Dezan Shira & Associates has always been supportive of the arts, and we have a strong client base in European high fashion. This was a great way to put something back into the European fashion industry.”
